I just simply cannot say enough about how impressed I am with the amount of thought, time, and effort that went into each and every one of these Native American homes. I have been showing them off all day! Way to go Room 11 and 12. Thank you to the families who spent quality time with their children putting the project together, I hope you enjoyed making them as much as we are enjoying seeing them!
Also 5th grade started their presentations today! They are doing an astounding job teaching us about their tribes. They are so prepared. The amount of work that went into each and every presentation is very clear. These students are rockstars!
Room 11 will be starting presentations tomorrow!
All of the students have learned so much, far beyond just the Native Americans, but also how to create, edit and present information to an audience. They learned how to practice speaking in front of a group with an engaging voice and eye contact. They learned how to research online and how to properly give citations. They learned how to take notes that would help them in their presentations. I am VERY proud of all of the students who participated in this project! THANK YOU!
Please check out the slide show below to see the wonderful work done by Rooms 11 and 12.
