Each week students will have math, writing and reading homework. Math and reading homework should be self explanatory with the directions on the homework sheets. Writing will change from week to week. Students will be asked to write a story given a writing prompt OR continue something we are working on in class. I will write the assignment each week on the assignments calendar found above under the assignments tab. Please see the writing homework "Criteria for Success" on the back of your students homework folder. Here is an example of the criteria. Due Dates: Homework is always due on Thursday. Please do not have your child turn in homework early, unless it has been prearranged with me. Late Work Policy: My goal is that students complete their homework. Students who do not have their work completed on time will not be able to attend Fun Friday with the rest of the students who completed their work on time. With that said, students can ALWAYS TURN IN HOMEWORK, at any point. My policy is better late than never, however please help me to teach and encourage your child to practice responsibility and get their work in on time. |
